Students Attend Griffiss Institute STEM Circuit

While summer break is often a time to relax and recharge, many Utica students have been spending their time exploring the exciting world of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) through a variety of hands-on learning opportunities.

This summer, students participated in the Griffiss Institute and SUNY Polytechnic Institute’s STEM camps and circuits where they explored topics including drones, robotics, engineering and aviation. Through interactive activities and real-world challenges, students strengthened their problem-solving, critical thinking and teamwork skills while discovering new interests in STEM fields.

These enriching experiences gave students the opportunity to learn beyond the classroom, encouraging creativity, innovation and curiosity throughout the summer months.

The District extends its sincere appreciation to the Griffiss Institute and SUNY Polytechnic Institute for providing these valuable hands-on learning opportunities and inspiring the next generation of innovators. Their partnership helps ensure students continue to learn, explore and grow all summer long.
