Community Readers Bring Stories to Life at Jefferson

The classrooms at Jefferson Elementary were filled with the magic of storytelling during the school's annual Community Readers Day. Guest readers included local heroes, business leaders and retirees who shared their favorite books with K-6 students. Seeing students connect with community members through literacy is one of the highlights of the year, as the visits not only strengthen reading skills but also show young learners how books connect us all to the world around us.
