A fire prevention assembly at Columbus Elementary School brought students and firefighters together for an entertaining and informative morning. Complete with puppets, fire hats, mascots and fun, students learned what to do in an emergency fire situation. Members of the Utica Fire Department kept students entertained while tackling a serious subject. The Utica Fire Department protects 63,000 residents within 17.5 square miles, and we are thankful they took time out of their day for this educational program at Columbus
